I loved this! It's always exciting to see people try new things. It reminds me that I'm not too old to be a beginner, to be bad at something, or to celebrate taking a first step. :)
I feel you on your theme - I had the same thought very recently where I felt down about dropping commitments/goals and whatnot (lbr 2020 was a a huge crapshoot on getting getting any sort of "accomplishment" done), but I felt way better when I reframed my mindset to just finding enjoyment in whatever I was doing in the moment. Just being present. Okay yes, that might sound really cliché, but ya know sometimes cliché is good!
In that vein, I've told myself these past years that small "progress" is still "progress" whether that is something you keep up with throughout your life (like working out! constantly a yearly goal for me, with varying results haha) or finding out you didn't like something you gave a fair shot to try out. It's a certain kind of kindness to allow yourself to try things and face the risk of "failure" (whatever that means).
Any who, that's a lot of words to say that I really vibe with this post! And wow, so many tempting stories, but my first vote goes for The One with the Accidental Sugar Daddy :D Love ya lots and hoping 2021 brings good things to the both of us!
